During the red wines, they were also given deli sliced r... moreLast weekend we held the Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition, and I noted the following: The judges were provided bland crackers (not salted or flavored) and water at all times. During the red wines, they were also given deli sliced roast beef. I'm told this can be helpful for them especially with the really big reds. Cheese would work as to the fat and protein, but can be too mouth-coating.
