Can't believe I traveled all the way to Napa & only got to stop at 2 wineries while enroute to the airport (soooooo sad, haha). Anyone going to the Harvest or have you been before? I can't go this year but wanted to hear what Harvests are like?

We got to try the new wines EVO while thay were still in the fermenting stage which was kind of cool. They introduced the new "Brand" book which tells you about the wines produced under that particular label. They also introduced the new wine tasting guide that replaces the gold one. The dinner was fabulous and it was nice meeting all the staff. It has made me very motivated.

caliwine: Wow I got my wine today ! at 7 ish, And I tried the Fog, It reminded me of a Cab. the spicy-ness I did really like it. It kinda reminded me of Tilden Peak for some reason, But no complaints here.

AlisonS: Oh - OK. Yes, I just received my wine club.. but I get the white/white. I received the Nouveau Muse Rosato and the Somersville Cellars Chardonnay. Can't wait to give them a try - I'll let you know what I think.

It was really good, although I was expecting something a little bit bolder in taste just based on my experience with a Sangiovese I've tasted from a winery in Temecula, CA. Has anyone else received theirs yet? If so, what did you think?

AlisonS: I was wondering if there was a WSAH group. This is great! I just started this month & am having my "launch" tasting on Friday. The Frisch Reisling is greaat. I also loved the Hannah Nicole Sauvignon Blanc!
