About Me:

I live in Montana (in a log home in the middle of nowhere, powered mostly by solar & wind). My husband & I travel to France several times a year to guide tours I've set up in the Bordeaux region & the Dordogne Valley (prehistoric caves, medieval castles, etc...). Great chance to eat, drink wine, eat, drink wine..

When at home I like to garden, hike, ski, and curl up with a good book (and a glass of wine, of course).

Favorite Wines:

Mostly reds - Bordeaux, Burgundy,Cotes de Rhone, Chateau Neuf du Pape, Cahors, as well as Italians & peppery South American wines. In Summer, a Bandol wine from the south of France or a Brouilly lightly chilled hits the spot. Smith Haut Lafite's white Pessac-Leognan is delicious too, but out of my price range.

dianeo posted a comment on CheersToYou's profile:Welcome! We appear to have at least two things in common - red wine & commercial real estate. My husband and I own rental properties here in Montana. We're both primarily "red winos".

I must admit, I'm not much of a wine critic - as long as it's red, dry, and not a Shiraz, I'll probably like it. ...
