I love: hiking, running, spelunking, equestrian showjumping, kayaking, snow or waterskiing, mountain biking, organic food, traveling, game nights, crossword puzzles, directing funny faces towards unsuspecting children, and last but certainly not least, wine tasting. Cooking is still a throwback passion since my days as a French-fusion chef and I love pairing wine with new creations.

I love all of the Italian reds but especially love Barolo. Reds in general are my faves. I love Merlot and lean towards heavy Vino though I've recently tried some decent Pinot Noir. Cabs are usually too smoky a flavor for me and I could live without Zins.

Occasionally (if forced), will drink whites such as Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc or Sauvignon Blanc.
