I enjoy the world of wines and how it always keeps me guessing. The fact that I will never know everything there is to know about wine is what drives my passion for VINO!!!
Where did you find the Apex? I get out to the Yakima area - TriCities actually - for business occasionally and they have some great wines. I've been to a couple of wineries out there and would love to stay for a weekend and visit several of them.
Sry for the delay. Of course I have recommendations... Llano, it's my favorite TX wine, but then again I love sweet wine... if you like dry I cant help you :( Also, if you're ever in your local liquor store, check out KWV... they're difficult to find but they're one of the best brands out there. Thanks for the message :)
It is oaked, but not overly as in most California and Australian Chards. Its fruity yet buttery with more vanilla notes than wood. It's one of the few Chards I will purchase. (so far that I've tasted, that is).
Yep, thanks for the request! This area is great. My bf lives up in the north bay right near all the wineries too, though I've yet to go to any with him.
