Color: Deep purple in color.
Nose: Black cherry, blueberry and clove.
Taste: Very rich with the dark fruit prominent and a good dose of pepper. Nice balance, moderate tannins, lush mouthfeel. Medium length finish with the fruit hanging on the longest.
Notes: A very good Sonoma Zinfandel for the price. A 750ml is well under $20.00. The fruit is prominent but I would not say this Zinfandel is at the fruit bomb fruitiness level. Drink now through 2012.
