Category: Wine Review

Purchased: Ben's in Reno, NV - $44.99
Vineyard Website: Chateau Giscours
Region: France - Bordeaux - Médoc - Margaux
Color: Inky plum with red hues in color.
Nose: Pencil lead, smoke, currants, cherry and boisenberry.
Taste: Spicy with hints of chocolate and fruit. Good jolt of acidity but not too much. Full bodied. Rich mouthfeel. Potent tannins.
Notes: Needs more time to age to fully show but a good wine at a decent price (for Bordeaux).
