About Me:
|
I only started to seriously drink wine as of May of 2007. (I was a beer guy.) My girlfriend started me with Spanish Tempranillo and then one night blew me away with an Italian Brunello. By December 2007, I went to Napa and loved it so much, we went back again in April and stayed at the Ink House Inn in St. Helena.
My number one experience was a bottle of 1989 Heitz Cellars, Martha Vineyard at a five star restaurant for Valentines Day. The wine actually eclipsed the exceptional food. I never had such a wine nirvana in my life.
Now, I am concentrating on finding wines that I can afford to drink on a regular basis. I'm having a blast finding yummy Australians and Italians that are under $20.
